  1. I had that problem with snubbers in the begining. I dont run snubbers now and i dont tangle now. Another issuue I had was I think I was going too slow with my boat when I let the dipsy out and they would spiral down and twist.
  2. My finder goes nuts by the barge everytime. One time it had the depth at 1 foot.
  3. we use to run huge moters on tiny boats. Its pounds the spiny flees out of the boat itself. should see a 12 foot alluminum row boat with a 40 hp. The plywood wedge boats we built as kids had 75 hp or better. My question is , why not sell the moter and buy a matched pair.
  4. Rigger empty with chain dragging bottom and 2 seth green rigs in the mud trail behind
  5. try the long chain in front of your seth green rig. mud it up good
  6. I was born and rased in the finger lakes and large die offs are common when the lake flips. It happens every year, now its got a name,
  7. I got them used and the ropes are tied but I will keep that in mind.
  8. I wanted to get out today and try them but its a steady rain. I would really like to see a video of someone putting out their boats. I have only used the inlines so its all new to me.
  9. Id be interested in the 88,s should you need to split them up
  10. I tried to find a video on using the otter boats but I could not find anything. I mounted them as I have noticed others have done. Are they high enough, where to add rod holders.
  11. The little bit of ice fishing is doing nothing to the population. too much water and very few fisherman
  12. We were set up by 7 am in 200 fow. Ran all spoons again this weekend. Had 2 wire rods with spoons, one at 120 the other at 190, a ten color core down the middle, and 2 downriggers with sliders at 60 and 70. First fish was at about 10:00 on the 120 dipsy but lost at the boat. The 70 rigger took a laker on the slider on a nk28 pink +white. The 190 wire rod took a small king. All the fish came when we crossed a scum line in 327 fow.
  13. My boards are yellow birds, I dont know about the offshore
  14. I think I will buy 1 to try. I looked for an otter boat video but could not find one, I assume I still would need a mast for the otter
  15. I watched a video and they look good, how is the board on the line in the back?
  16. I have had good luck with the small yellow boards with 4 color, I tried to run a new 10 color I set up and it sank, so I went to a 6 color and that sank too, is my board bad or is it just too much weight? What would be a better board?
  17. merrels inlet would be a start, have not been there in 30 years or so. I got a snapper when I was there that was just shy of the state record
  18. My girlfreind was perfect with the net this time. We were fishing by 7:00 am in 180 feet just west of the shoot. We trolled east most of the morning with all spoons above 40 feet. I was putting out a core and hit a steely before I got the first color out. The next 2 came on wire dipsy out 140 with a spoon. The next came on a 4 color core with inline plainer. The sun came out and warmed us up but no more hits. We trolled back west toward the launch and the downrigger took 2 nice lakers with optimizer lures 40 down with a cheeter. The wire dipsy rod also took a nice laker on the west troll, Terry lost a nice fish on the wire as well. We were 7 for 8 with a few other empty hits. the 4 spoons on the left caught fish the 3 on the right did nothing all day.
  19. it looks like water in your oil in the first pic
  20. Well I put the one on the left on a 4 color core today and it only took 1 king.
