they were very very bad on brown this past spring

that is a bit pricy compaired to what I have seen large spoon lots go for on here.... BUT... if they look like a ton you like then buy them

if you dont vacuum pack it I wouldnt eat it after a week and probably wouldnt really freeze If you have a vacuum sealer it lasts a long time

I will add more... my hot fly last 2 years was this little crappy hammer fly that had about 8 strands total left... this past weekend it was firing like crazy and we ended up losing our beloved fly in the prop when a fish dove right under the boat I sent another hammer down and it went hitless for 2 hours... I finally pulled it in and ripped a TON of skirt off and made it ugly as sin like the other one was and took the treble off and ran 2 single hooks like the old one was rod fired again in 5 mins and went on firing all day sometimes they like the beat up small ugly ones

I agree with yankee some people have said they have has success with them but I have given them the good college try this year with low success
