the difference between buying something with a 1993 motor vs say a 2005 motor is astonishing Hull's are cheap Motors are not

from what I noticed a 10K boat fully outfitted is leaps and bounds better than a 4-5k boat engine wise.... maybe spend the extra on a fully rigged one and sell everything then re rig it lol? I know the feeling I was looking at that range myself and ended up buying a 4k boat and the motor blew up in the first month and I had to repower with a 12k outboard... It is really that breaking point where you get crap below and quality above

yes with fishing gear/ riggers/electronics and so on

my advise is buy something for more that is fully set up.. most the times you can find a nice 17-20 footer set up nice for 8-10 you would spend 2-3k setting these boats up anyway

Im not a surf fisherman but I was at the beach last weekend and saw 2 kids surf fishing and they couldnt really get a good cast I thought if you had a kite with a planner board release you could fly the kite out then pull the line free and get your bait out a long ways but you would have to have an off shore wind

i think people run them mostly when the fish are in super shallow staging to run the river
