  1. if you have good reels and good rods to work a fish I really dont think fish can strip that much line.... if you make a fish really fight the drag and the rod you can slow them down pretty quickly but you can lose some also
  2. feet... and like I said that is bare bones min......
  3. are you asking what the least amount you want on your reel? I would say at min 350 feet... thats dead minimum you can always increase you capacity by adding braid frist then mono since braid is thinner
  4. this should put some concerns at ease people....... Bob is marketing costume spoons to people and if somebody tries to move in on a patter you make up with him he aint mass producing it.... good work bob... when I first started taking to you this was a huge concern of mine because I asked you to recreate a spoon I didnt want massed produced.... And it hasnt and this post shows that it wont be
  5. I have been using 20 lb p line about 35ish feet tied with an albright knot

  9. huh sorry for being argumentative I was just going based on personal experience
  10. I dont think thats true at all I think they are very pretty animals
  11. I bought those same weights at all seasons 2 years ago and paid less than $30 each did prices go way up? maybe now im wrong about price of sharks
  12. very good read going to check my gear again this week I dont think I will ever not buy a water proof cell phone again... It could save your life
  13. I paid like $27 for torpedo style weights.... I dont know where you see them for more than $50 each
  14. not much? at least double the price of other types Wrong I paid less for my sharks then my torpedos. And they should ne double the price cause there 4a times better. Atleast 10 ft less blowback with 12 lb sharks over 15 lb torpedos. Not to mention the amount of fish they bring into your spread. I've seen fish streak 48 ft up. I painted one with glow paint then did the top of it with that chart safety paint. You can't say this is better then that if you've never fished with them. You can also turn much tighter without crabbing. [ Post made via Android ] id like to know where you are shopping then
  15. We gave half to boat we could have had all of it. I spent 6hrs yesterday butchering and vacum sealing up tuna steaks at least 200lbs worth or more. I did keep all of the blue fin he was perfect with lots of fat I should have ran down to the city and sold him. LOL If you get a tuna over 73 inches he belongs to the boat. Sean got ya
  16. no point.. want to fish stripers get in the car and drive a few hours east
  17. do you get to keep them or does the boat? I have heard that on tuna trips you dont get to keep them the boat does and sells them?
  18. not much? at least double the price of other types
