    I have no concerns with the people that will be safe it's the people that aren't. State property will be exceptionally dangerous now with rifles. Shotguns have a tendency to go where they are aimed but rifles are more likely to bounce off objects.Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Where we fish we have caught more bad this year than the past 3. I do remember fishing for them about 8 years ago and would have a 50+ day on them.but like mentioned there weren't any Gobi and they err all the 3lbs. range. Nothing as big as they are now. Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Yup we get them all the time while we are up in the 1000 islands. Just call your provider and tell them you were in U.S. waters and they will remove the charges. You were probably bouncing off both sets of towers. When I was out that way I would get that message 4 our 5 times. Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Put the lower in gear and grab the prop with a set of work gloves and give her a twist make sure you are turning it in the direction of the gear selector (clockwise forward and counter clockwise reverse). Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Thanks pap! They should fish the weed beds we have been perching on the edge of them and picking huge jack perch and good smallies. Yesterday I caught a nice 4 pounder same depth.Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    My wife caught this fish while we were perch fishing. Weighed in at 5lbs. 8oz. This fish trumped her personal best of 5lbs. 2oz. Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Does the throttle control box have 2 levers one for fast idle and the other for engaging the forward reverse/throttle? If so make sure the fast idle stays down while engaging in gear. I have seen this happen with the older mercs and kills the motor. Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    I second this. We had a old Johnson that would run great but as soon as the boat got on plane she would die right out. I had a buddy pump the bulb as a revved Her up onto to plane and she ran fine. Also she ran fine on muffs and high idle.Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    I have been running the vertical 4 rod holders for 2 seasons and have worked awesome. They are extremely stout and hold up to 2 dipsys pulling on them no problem.Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    I was all over on depth. I had 3 riggers down and 3 dipsys. Riggers were set 30, 60, 80 with dipsys 60, 70, and 85. All dipsys had flasher flies and riggers had spoons. My down speed was 2.5 at 70' in 55.8° Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    Most of the time it is a short strike unless it is bottom. Most of the time I check the lure to make sure there isn't any debris on the lure.Sent from the awesomeness of Chas!

    I fished for a few hours between Stony and Galoo islands didn't catch a fish bit had 2 releases on Dreamweaver UV. Water temp was 56 degrees from 30 fow down to bottom. Marked some nice fish from 40 to 80 but nothing wanted to hit. I ran spinnys spoons just about anything I could think of and nothing. Good I hope the fishing picks up.
