West of Sandy Creek is the Pump House. The intake pipe is approximately 2 feet in diameter and runs about 100 yards out into the lake. Its easy to find and holds fish. East of Sandy, just past Cowsucker creek is the Green Can. Wautoma shoal is inside of the can. drift in 10-30 feet of water, bass are there as well.
See what it looks like. Stay in tight, 100 feet or less. If it’s too rough you can still have a great weekend. Find a plan B, maybe pike and bass somewhere inland and close. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Really really cool. Takes a thousand times more to make something than it does to buy something. Completely missing in 99% of today’s society. Great stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
If the wind is east play golf. If it’s west run riggers with short leads and a couple dipsys. Rough water can be great. Don’t fight the waves. Run what’s comfortable, pull, run back on plane at a reasonable speed and repeat. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Spin Dr and fly. Pick a color. NK 28 black and silver belly, pick a stripe color. NK 28 Black with white belly, pick a stripe color. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Great event for anyone. Some of the best people, best location on the south shore. Low key, fun, but competitive. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Had the pleasure of meeting Matt (Bosun Cowboy) today. He came over and discked my plot. Fantastic guy, if anyone needs discking done I highly recommend you shoot him a PM. Hit it with some 15-15 and seeded it this morning. Have the sprinkler going now and looks like rain on Tuesday. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Ha ha that’s awesome! Good for you. Amazing how often fish are there but fleas and a lot of boats aren’t. 100 feet of water between the nose and Cowsucker? No place I’d rather be. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I believe a lot of people run over fish. Why not come off plain and take a peek at 80 to 100. Don’t put lines down, just take a 5 minute look before you head out further. Can’t tell you how often it’s paid off for me. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Don’t over think it. Worry more about where you’re fishing, speed, temp, water color, presence of bait, what you have for lunch. Not as much what color or specific lure, more where and how Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
