  1. Had a visitor this morning to the deer pile out back. His days are numbered.
  2. Beautiful dogs Ken. Love to run with you guys sometime. Lazyriver I don’t sweat Rusty’s opinion. In this day and age the difference of opinions are pretty common. No worries we still share a lot of common interests. Never even heard of a Vole before his post. Pretty sure we’ll be saving the lives of a lot of them.
  3. Hard for me to tell if it’s one of the ones I’ve watched at the park but it makes sense. Great stuff Ken.

Sold / Closed Legacy -The 2021 Season-

    Love that
  5. Tommy and a friend out calling tonight. The roadkill deer has had nothing but fox and opossum on it so far. Hope that changes soon.
  6. Back out on the 20th, looking forward to it!
  7. They look great
  8. I bet they are going to work great
  9. Smoke em
  10. Mike is missed but not forgotten.
  11. Yep! Usually half of what you catch upstream in the hole, and 99% at the bar, are lakers.
  12. I personally would only make the run to the hole with an experienced guide, even then it’s pretty spooky. I’ve been there dozens of times but there are plenty of great drifts that are below. Some days, when below the power plants the water is stained, the hole is a nice option. One weird thing yesterday was that we didn’t catch a single lake trout.
  13. Beautiful boat and family!
  14. Completely agree
  15. 17 foot with a 90 Yamaha, not my boat though. Fished with guide Matt Gantress.
  16. We caught them on small emeralds And beads.
  17. Dickey and I had a fun trip today with Matt Gantress. Checked out the Artpark drift first but water was murky so we shot up to the Hole. Water there was good and we managed to land 8 steelhead, probably missed or dropped another 8. Surprisingly we were the only boat on the river.
  18. Walking with my wife at Hamlin Beach this morning watched a pair of yotes mousing. Was pretty cool. Were probably 125 yards away and upwind.
  19. Heading to the Niagara in the morning, first trip of the year. It’s an amazing place, excited.
  20. Welcome aboard Bob
  21. Good for you Brian, welcome aboard. Looking forward to a great season myself.
  22. Typical Niagara trips are 6 hours and cost between $350 and $400. Bar fishing is more sensitive to wind than the river. If you book a date you may need to be flexible between the two. Bar often is heavy on lakers but some monster browns are caught there as well. The scenery from Lewiston to Devis Hole is incredible. Steelhead numbers are much higher there as well. Either way it’s an incredible fishery and you’ll be back again.
