    thanks for all responses. i haven't seen them for $130. Cheapest with a LC i found was $175, haven't pulled the trigger yet

    so you are not fans of the faster retrieve? also don't feel like you should have to upgrade a drag right out of the box, is it really necessary with the tekota?

    Want to upgrade wire diver reels to saltist's, have convector 30s now and wanta better drag. Think most people are using the saltist 40's for this correct?

    i have not had much luck this year in my regular spots on the south shore. best outing was 2 so far, i throw rapala flat rap size 8 in silver. usually don't need to take it off all fall

    didnt catch a single fish on jplug this fall... run off riggers mainly and sometimes a copper or 10 color you might get more responses if you posted these topics in open lake discussion or tackle and techniques
