  1. Launched outta NE early Sunday. Set up shop in 40' and had an absolute epic Laker bite, first hour couldn't get four lines out. First three fish were six, five n three pounds. Stayed in the same area for the next two and a half hours. Landed and released over 30 fish.. only improved one fish for us to give us a 15 lb 14 ounce total good for third. The wind picked up and we decided to quit fishing at 8:30am. Huge congratulations to Harvey for his win and great bag of fish. Also great catch Jason! Took some pics this time out just incredible to be able to fish such a gorgeous area! Side note on the health of these fish, super skinny with only bugs in their stomachs. Very little bait marked, fish came on small Warrior flutter spoons and scorpion in perch and pink colors, 3-7 color lead cores and riggers. 11. Great post and nice photos Mike! We fished a little North of Dean's and had similar results with the only variation being a brown off of a gobie imitation spoon on a cheater. The group of guys we had fishing turned in very similar totals but Mike forgot to mention that he bested us all. Next time bud! Nice fishing! 13. Believe it is a 1980 or so model year with bucket loader, 3 pt hitch and PTO. Runs great and only needs front tires. Great food plot tractor or woods tractor. Selling for Lions Camp Badger in Spencer NY. We are a not for profit camp for special needs kids. Asking $4000 PM me to come take a look. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Well said BS. I'd add that if you are lucky enough to own a piece of ground that you can hunt on, it should be up to you as to which deer you would like to harvest. I do my best to increase the carrying capacity of the land I hunt and I feel it's up to the hunter to make their choice to shoot a whichever it be, a young deer or trophy buck if you like. To put restrictions on us ludicrous! NY state has already taken away our rights that were given to us in our deeds. We just rent the property from the state and county. Owning land in NY has become taxing in all definitions. I like to kill mature bucks yes but I love to have back straps on charcoal more! QDM should be quality deer land management with the emphasis on improving the carrying capacity and bettering the herd. Requiring that you pass on a deer that you may enjoy eating way more than your wife enjoys hitting with her new car just doesn't make sense. 22. Thanks guys! Looking forward to a great year. Cayuga certainly looks like it will produce some great fish again this year! Mike not sure why but that gold fly seems to be hot in the cooler, dirty water. Sorry didn't grab a pic of brown.. [emoji226] Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  25. An absolute epic day for us on Cayuga. We launched out of Taughannock and fishing started slow with the air temps still in the 30's. Picked up a small salmon and then a keeper one as we messed around out in front of Taughannock and headed north. The screen looked really good outside the plume from Taughannock falls but fish were tight lipped. Continued North with pretty much a blank screen and we picked a few small Lakers off the mag dipsy with a gold n purple fly name?? Early riser maybe... Decided to check out around Milliken and there were lots of fish hugging bottom in 110-135'. These fish were willing ready n hungry and we ended up landing about a half dozen nice Lakers in that area. Headed back south the rigger I had set at 135' down hit and took drag! My buddy Dave took hold and pulled in the biggest Cayuga Laker my boat has ever seen. Officially 12.34 lbs on my digital scale. After photos she was revived and kicked hard going back to her deep bait pods. The spin doctor was a custom painted Bellis special and the fly was an ironduke UV wild child. As a bonus near the mouth of Taughannock we picked a nice brown on a Warrior spoon. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
