Wow well done! I remember a few of those holes, they are all the secret places unmentioned on here! Makes me want to move to Lewiston, although I've always wanted to live there! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Scotty hands down, speed, efficiency, drop speed faster, drop one down 100' push the button and it's hard get the line in faster than the ball being back up. Love mine Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I'd recommend getting a wire setup. Roller rod 8' med heavy, okuma blue diamond really nice, an okuma Coldwater 30 size with 1000' of 30 lb SS wire. The 17 lb line you have is a bit light if you plan on running it in any other lake.. You can run any size dipsy with whatever you want behind the wire setup plus you get less drag using wire. I have found that 30 lb big game runs nicely behind the dipsy. With the good clicker on the Coldwater you can let it out with just that. A snubber will help the dipsy from spinning while letting it out. The lead behind the dipsy is usually key I like a longer 12-15' lead and then hand line the fish in. Run whatever you like off the dipsy I like a SD with a UV fly.. But for Keuka I'd say a small perch colored spoon will out catch anything. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

We run as many as needed, (sometimes every rod) we fish fingers a lot with tons of success on LL and Lakers with Mike's flies. but some days it's a spoon bite, spread em change em rearrange em, lol ! Ontario is about getting a good troll with down speed and temp. So many factors as to what the kings want if you find them.. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Teeth are a good way to judge age, I shot a doe that my sister n neighbor rehabed after being caught in a fence as a fawn. it had a broken back leg. They wrapped the rear leg and it survived for 8 more years. The bone healed and I still have the leg is was obvious that it was put into a splint and healed. This doe was 8 1/2 years old the rear teeth were worn but still fine. I think a lot depends on how many acorns it eats over it's lifetime. This deer had beautiful alfalfa to eat and plenty of corn but not as many oaks as other areas.. truly the only way to tell is by sending out a tooth. I dunno that's a hard picture to judge age. If the buck has been on the property for that long no doubt. He is blocky, bit of a belly, hard to see a sway back, but the part that makes it possible is the mass around his bases.. could be 6-7 yo buck imo... If you bring the gun inside unload it. The change in temps and humidity creates condensation on the inside of the barrel getting your pellets or powder wet. If it stays outside you can get away with it but it's a good idea to drop the breech and unload it after each hunt only takes a few seconds and after unloading and bringing up to inside temp run a swab or paper towel thru. You're right it would be funnier if it was rigged with a bud light and it threw a guy into the pond. Dilly Dilly!! Question would be, who has more rights a squirrel or a drunk red neck? yea today it would be the squirrel, [emoji107] Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

30-36" the other key is running a 14' leader of 30lb mono from the dipsy, hand lining em in. You can shorten up the fly distance in the summer with more active fish. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Yes big flocks of geese and many ducks not close enough to identify but lots of birds.. Last year this time, I trolled right up to a red head wish I had a good camera, the pic woulda been awesome. He would've looked good dead too! Lol Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Sheldrake... I meant to say Milliken, lol! But seriously the fish weren't there like usual, bait was pasted on the bottom in 175' and most of the big fish were suspended in the middle of the lake. One great thing about not having to winterize is the next warm day I'm headed out again, lol!! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Lake Ontario United mobile app
