  3. Good luck Rollie! We will be on Owasco all weekend!
  4. I remember him having par, smolt, fingerling small to bigger
  5. That'll do little donkey, that'll do!!!
  6. Well done gentleman!
  7. I've found if you run these slow they don't rotate, I like using them as a cheater. Check their action as you put them down.
  8. Motor up at least six miles and try shallow early with small bright spoons down 35-55. Marked bait n fish in the middle with some bow action out deep. Vary your speed to find what they want
  9. Bow wow!
  10. Fished out of Severene today later start 10am Bait from top to down 120' decided to try exclusively for silver's up the middle 570-630 fow. Marked so many fish and bait it was ridiculous. Suspended fish down 100-150' First bow in the boat in under five minutes then nothing for over an hour!! Ended up going 8 for 10 with three small bows, three browns 15-18" and two dinky salmon. Took a big shot on the rigger but lost it quickly. Didn't try to catch the Lakers until later and they wanted nothing to do with anything I threw at them. Fun day all fish went back to get bigger. Small pink warriors and scorpions in mixed veggie. Were producers.
  11. We may sneak over to Seneca tomorrow, lol! Well done!
  12. Alex, if you get too many offers I'm interested too if he's not making them
  13. Fast shipping got my cog today fits perfectly and runs smooth! Owasco look out here we come
  14. Just a shout out to a NY company that has saved me from buying new rigger. They have a great selection of fishing gear, paddles ( New sharks), unique spoons and parts for downriggers. THANKS for an easy web site and great schematics. Fish307.com I'm not a paid supporter, lol!
  15. Great work Les! Seth Green rigs, old school but I'm sure effective. Sounds crazy but we didn't touch a LL under 3.2 sog this past weekend, seemed like they liked it on the speed increase. Bright colors yellow, chartruse, my favorite purple or green was cold. Ten color cores 30-50' was best. Great job getting out with your son!
  16. Little less classy but OMalleys at Kidders pt. Is an awesome place to tie the boat up and get a great meal n glass of beer or wine.
  17. Head to T- falls area very few weeds, Lakers right down the chute, 90-110' down. FF on mag dipsy. Spoons will work also, salmon out there and browns too. They liked it a bit slower. The shallow bite 40-60' of water was ok but it was hit n miss
  18. That's some great professional insight Nick Good luck finishing up this year. Seneca was tough for everyone this year but I still love fishing it. If anyone wants a first class charter look up Nick. http://www.reelstoriesfishingcharters.com
  19. Great job, my guess is that you may have been going a bit fast for Lakers, the salmon were hitting at 3-4mph sog this weekend. Always cool to hook up! Great advice by all on here.
  20. The paddle seems to produce well on slow days like today, I lengthen the lead to 30" + We had a bunch of short strikes today, and most fish were barely hooked. also forgot to mention all fish but one went back healthy..
  21. Pics
  22. Launched at T- falls because of time constraints. Took my son and his wife out for her first trolling experience. Looked for browns early only found a few 15-18" guys, not sure where the bigger browns went. Headed out to deep water and found some really nice Lakers on paddle n fly down 90-110' Gave Bob Barker (flt spoon) a try on deep rigger he produced a nice 7lber. The big fish of the short morning came on the mag dipsy, just under ten lbs. Iron Duke uv extravaganza was the big boy producer!
