  7. The in laws are in town so we decided to give it a try this morning. Splashdown 6:00 am. Running 2 mag dipsys and a probe rigger. Temp at 43 ft. Both lakers were on the wire mag dipsy on a 2 out 233 ft pulling A spinny with a big weenie trailing behind. Haven't scored a silver fish on the probe rigger in awhile...maybe they are out in the middle?!? Blown off within 2 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Only had a couple hours to troll ...splash down 5:45 am 2 riggers with sliders pulling Fingerlakes spoons and a mag wire dipsy guiding a spinny/fly combo. Thermocline found around 50 ft. First laker was a nice fat 7 pounder hitting a green alpha alewife on a slider off a 103 ft rigger. Second laker was much smaller on the wire dipsy out about 183 weed pods are far and few between but lethal when you find them. Fleas are getting worse. It was a long lonely spring but things are much better now...barring the muddy water the debris and the fleas!!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. Both days were carbon copy. Got out about 6:00 am running 2 riggers with sliders and a wire mag dipsy out 123'. Nothing doing until 9 am when all hell breaks loose...both days! I am assuming because of the muddy water the fish were having problems seeing what I had to offer. At 9 the sun finally made things shine! Or possibly the moon threw me a curve ball. Anywho both days nice fish were caught and released including about a 8lb bow lost at the net. 55 to 56 degrees was found about 33 to 38 ft down. 2.3 mph at the ball. Fingerlakes tackle did the work. No rhyme nor reason on color. Fleas just getting started and grass a bit of a problem. All rods took fish. On a side note guys have been talking about an extreme amount of bait in the lake...all fish caught were very chubby. Yes it makes for slow fishing but these things are getting heavy!!!
