  2. I have one in front and one in back or my boat both humminbird that are compatible with eachorher, I only have one ducer mounted so interference isn't an issue, I ran an Ethernet cable from each unit so I can see sonar/gps ect. On each screen. Bespoke part is I now have a spare transducer if I ever need it ! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  7. If your looking for matures no. It has been very slow inside, some guys are heading out to 28N, 29N just to hook a few small ones because the matures are not cooperating. Wish I had a better answer for you. Good luck.

  9. On mine one cable broke an out 70 feet ou the line the other broke about 3 inches above the terminal end... very frusturing Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. 100-150 fow in front of the park produced some nice kings and steelies on tue,wed for us Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I donated 2 torpedo weights and an x4d probe this month both riggers are mag 10 stx, less then a year old, have had the same issue with stacking and pig tailing, I also noticed freys 3 different times just above the terminator which I had to cut and re terminate the second time I went back out after doing so I lost another torpedo weight. So now in replaced the cable with scotty heavy duty cable 180lb test and it works nice but I think the jerking of the mag 10 stx puts alot of stress on the cable over a season. Needless to say I'm looking to get new riggers Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. This Broke Above The terminator Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Lost a probe and ball this weekend and noticed a frey on my other rigger, luckely I caught the second one before it broke. I currently run mag 10 stx downriggers with fifteen lb weights, the cable currently on them is about 1 year old and is Cannons stock cable nothing fancy. I also use snubbers to absorb the shock on these riggers. With that being said I am going to replace the cable on my riggers just curious to see what everybody perfers to run on their riggers. I'v heard scotty makes some descent stuff but have never tried it. Any suggestions ???
  14. I can't speak for sandy but I know the oak still has a decent bite going on... and its not far I boated over 25 fish on sunday In 250 fow all classes of salmon and a mess of good steelies, also heard that the bite was still hott yesterday from 150-200 from a good buddy. Hope this helps ,good luck! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Interesting feedback guys, Thanks fellas guess ill jut have to give then a shot !
  16. Tracks ! Stay away from gimbal mounts on a rough day they bounce around and the pin can pop out of the grove of the gimbal and you can loose a rigger.... it almost happened to me Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. For those of you who have ran meat and MC rockets what do you think produces better results... just curious to see if I can save a little money and still have decent results.
  18. Had the same problem re-wired it to the battery still had issues... pulled the boat out to check the ducer and it was chewed by a muskrat ... fish hawk sent me a new ducer and I replaced it and now it's flawless Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Use good releases and bury the rods super tight so the tips are pointing straight down.... I use scotty power grip releases and set them on the high tension setting, then clip the line to the back of the back of the black line on the release... this will allow you to take up virtually all the slack in your line without popping the release, occasionally smaller fish may not release the line so you may have to give a slight tug on the rod to pop the release but most fish will still pop the release just pay attention to the rod bouncing. Reel fast and hang on tight ! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. You may have your transducer angeled too high I had same problem with my Helix 10 reading the ball as bottom...I clicked the ducer down one click and the problem was solved... also after making this adjustment I noticed a 4 foot difference in depth on the graph so I recommend that you adjust the depth offset on the fishfinder I did this at the dock by slowly letting the rigger ball down untill it hit bottom then adjusting the offset on the fishfinder to the amount of feet of cable out on the rigger. Hope this helps ! Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. And I prefer to use the scotty stacker releases Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. I only have 2 riggers so I always stack I run the deep rod on inside and high rod on the outside because I always try to fight the fish to the center of the boat... I run deep rod with the shortest lead (depth pending) and the high rod out longer... make sure your rods are angling away from each other so when the line releases it gets it pulls away fronm the other line spoons I useally stack 15ft. Apart and if I run a ff I'll go 20-25 ft apart if running a ff I will only stack a spoon if you stack a ff above a ff you will have a tangled mess ! 23. I also second the 10:00 and later I get very few bites before then with a full moon, on a few occasions though iv had them turn on like a light switch later in the morning Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
