  1. I have two probes. Text me or call 978-815-6476.
  2. Thanks....just wanted to see others opinions.
  3. Hey guys....just a question, do you use Fluro between main line and paddle/spinny to meat rig where you attach to the release or just tie directly mainline to spinny?
  4. Im staying at Lennys place starting on the 20th. Hoping for a great trip and calm water.
  5. There were no boats docked at Wrights....the ramps were all good to use though. Kind of creepy with the whole place being a ghost town.
  6. Launched at Wrights landing before 5am each morning. Was very surprised to see so few boats also launching. Only Saturday morning we saw some boat traffic at the launch and then on the water it was pretty busy. We headed east each morning towards the Nuke Plant in 15-20ft of water. We had non stop action until about 1030-11am each day on the Browns. Boated well over 50 of the them for the 3 days we were out there. The best day being our 1st day on the water. We ran flatlines with Goby Bay Rats on the big boards and 2 color SWR rigs on the downriggers. Our speed was anywhere from 1.9-2.4mph. After the morning bite wore off we went looking for kings, had no luck finding them. We tried 40-80ft at multiple depths, 3 colors, 5 colors, and 7 colors plus 20-30ft down on the riggers. Got the Atlantic on a 7 color down the chute on a gold/copper Mooselook Thinfish spoon. The hot color on the riggers was anything copper. Greens and oranges did nothing for us. We stayed with Natural looking colors for all of our action. The hoodie definitely was the difference maker
  7. Ive asked the same question. the Marina itself is closed, the ramps are open.
  8. Thanks everyone, I think what all of this means is I have it right and the stupid Web Page has misleading/wrong arrows. I appreciate the feedback! -Scott
  9. Exactly what I thought in my mind...but the stupid weather site shows the opposite? https://marineweather.net/coastal/lake-ontario-mexico-bay-to-the-saint-lawrence-river-marine-forecast Maybe im losing my mind....notice the arrows for each of the days.
  10. OK so trying to understand the weather report for this weekend, I am not fishing this week but still trying to understand.I do not live out at the lake, I live in NH and drive out a few times a year. So weather is saying that there is a small craft advisory and wave heights could reach 9ft this weekend with a West Wind of 20knts from Mexico Bay to the St Lawrence. I would of thought with a West wind the waves in Mexico would be smaller as the wind is coming from on shore into the lake? An East wind, in my mind, means the wind is coming all the way across the lake thus giving the waves time to build and make for a much bigger wave height when it reaches the eastern shore. Am I reading it wrong? I only get to fish the big lake a couple times a year so not fully versed in the weather patterns and want to understand them better. Thanks in advance.
  11. Not necessarily....I tend to see more people in the winter up towards the hatchery and further away from the lake.
  12. I bought some Torpedo weights from him in the past and I was looking to buy another set. Ive sent him an email, but no response. Thanks!
  13. Took my wife and 12yr old Nephew for their 1st trips to Lake O. Launched out of Mexico and took some local advice to start our trip. Didn't pan out the way we had hoped, had a few hits on Friday and landed just 1 brown. Saturday was a bit better for us had 8 hits and landed 3, a 4th was lost at the boat when the 12 year old knocked the hook out of the kings mouth with the net. Sunday we started off with our 1st king about 15 minutes after the lines were in. Had a few other hits but only got the 1 to the boat on Sunday. Had tons of marks in the top 20ft of water so ran a 4 color rod straight down the pipe but no luck with that. Best action for us was in 120ft of water between 60 and 80ft down. Mid 40's for temps were down in the 70ft range. Most of our action came out towards the plant. Our hottest rod all weekend was a 350 copper, had at least 6 hits on it, landing 2 of them. 3 hits on Dipsy's and just landed 1 of them. Meat rigs took our other fish. I wish our numbers were better but still had a blast.
  14. Holy hell, I never saw water that calm the whole time I was out there, except yesterday morning at 1st light. Great pictures.
  15. Havent got anything dialed in yet. Skunked so far today. Ran downriggers between 60&70 as that’s where we kept seeing pods of fish. Started out in front of the Salmon River in 110 ft of water, 48degree temp was approximately 65 down. Ran 2 Dipsys with FF and a 7 color and a 10color. On a lunch break now and gonna head towards the plant this afternoon. Hopefully better luck
