  5. Sheila and I left the chute at 6 am headed west back to the water I fished the day before with a buddy. We started with a rigger @ 20' pulling wonderbread spoon the other rigger parked at 40' pulling orange and yellow nk28 spoon with a fuller mixed veggies spoon on a slider. Had one dispey back 180 on a 3 setting pulling fuller black meat pounding spoon the other dipsey back 100 on 2 setting pulling carmel dolphin sd and atomic habenero fly. We had a 3 color leadcore down the middle pulling a stinger carmel dolphin spoon. We took 2 small kings on the wonderbread and another 2 on the slidder. We missed a good rip on the leadcore was just gone by the time we got to the rod. Lost a real nice steely on the slidder at the back of the boat. By 10am we couldnt but a bite we worked from 85' out to 165' of water and from 10' down to about 120' down. We went through all the spoons in my box i think. Couldnt get anything over 2# in the boat was still better than being at work. Thank you for the veterans who fought and died for our freedom Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Got on the lake a little late today was around 7. Was my first time out of sandy in my boat. Left the chute headed west to about 95' put 2 riggers 2 dipsyes 300 copper and full 10 color leadcore. I parked the first rigger at 40' down ran a orange and yellow nk spoon the 2nd was at 60' pulling a dw ss waddler. First Dipseys set at 180 back pulling a fuller black meat pounding spoon 2nd dipsey set at 240 back on 3 setting pulling carmel dolphin sd and habenero fly. The 40' rigger fired 3 times all 3 skippy kings. The 300 copper started screaming 15 mins later we slipped the net under a 19# king. We worked from 95' out to 145' without moving anymore rods til about noon when the 65' rigger fired and screamed out to 300' a few mins later we netted our second major king 15#. We trolled ti about 130 without moving another rod. We went 7-9 all kings 2 majors 5 skippys

  16. I live on the bay and will tell you to avoid the bay and fish the lake. The bay gets messed up by the shad run in the winter and spring then when thats over the boat traffic begins. Right now the best fishing in the lake seems to be to the west of the bay. I fished east sunday morning and had less than 10 bites where the guys that went west are reporting 25 plus bites. Just look for the boats and go in that direction.
  17. same set up i use for jigging lakers through the iceSent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. We didnt fish saturday went turkey hunting instead when i saw the wind report. We saw many huge logs eat of the bay and all of them had seagulls on them making it easy to identify them. I didnt see anything 50' -60' long though. Thats enormous! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. My girlfriend and i headed straight out of the chute to 50'. We put down 2 riggers parked at 15' and 25' pulling a mag dw sea sick waddler the other pulling a mag warrior uv salmon candy. We put 2 dipseys out one pulling carmel dolphin sd with a atomic green glow fly. The other pulling bobby fuller cutsom e chip flasher with a atomic crinkle fly. We tried working the edge of the color but way too much debris floating. We decided to troll north trying to find fishable water. We got out to 70' when the 25' rigger fired with a 10# king slipped the net under him got him in the boat when the 40' dipsey with carmel dolphin sd fired with 19# king. Set both rods back, boxed the larger king and threw the smaller one back. Continued north took 3 more kings but all less than 5# off the riggers. Seemed like everytime i moved a rigger up or down it would take a shot but all smaller. Guess we should of went west but we still had a good morning with my girlfriend catching her biggest fish to date. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
