  1. I have a lifetime sportsman's license and I haven't received it yet. The damn hunting season starts in 4 day's. Am I the only one?
  2. I don't think you will find anyone in Rochester to do it. I went thru this last year. Send them to fish307 in Lake George. They turn them around in about a week and do a great job. I think it's around $10.00 plus shipping.
  3. Gary read the previous posts. Must be 20 of them. Also look at walleye.com erie east end blog. Some 300 posts on the subject. Do your homework.
  4. Off the downriggers, boards, jets? I was out Monday and what I got(2) was 45'down off the riggers. Dragged them around awhile. Never pulled the release.
  5. Sounds like Muskybob is looking to make some chowder
  6. You can take it over to Bryce Marine. Turnaround is about a week.

    Bass

Gave up around Sandy. Tried for years when I first moved out here. Go to Lake Erie and catch some bass. You won't be disappointed. See the previous thread.
  8. Mike I'm glad your getting good use of her. Could always count on that Merc.
  9. We fished the shoreline along the windmills working the humps(there's plenty) in 15-20' of water. Like I said we found nothing out away from the shore. Surprising.
  10. With the way Lake O has been the last few years went to the Small Boat Harbor for the yearly bass day. Took a newbe with me who had never been there. As always never disappointed. Took plenty of bass on fatheads out in front of the windmills with the largest 18-19 inches. Water was 68* on top. Nothing at Senica Shoals. A lot of goby's also. Best part was the free launch fee's. During the week over 62 gets in free with just showing your driver's license at state launches.
  11. I have the same unit. There is always give and take as with anything. If you want to see your cannon balls you may have to except that you may not get returns on the bottom when running on plane. Tilted back you may see your balls(sorry). Tilted forward you get bottom return at higher speeds but no balls. Also they recommend you but the unit in salt water mode deeper than 350'. There is a lot to these units. Read your disk completely.
  12. To get away cheap you can also use a drag bag or two to slow you down. There around $35.00 from Amish Outfitters. I us two, one each side, and you go in a nice straight line. One bag tends to pull you to the side.
  13. Those bass were on Black Lake if I'm right.
  14. If your other lakes don't appear in the specials section of the book it means that general regulations apply, 3rd Saturday in June.
  15. If your in Canadian waters I think your restricted to 1 pole per person. May be wrong but I don't think so. New York you can have 3.
  16. Call a couple electrical contractors. Most have the means and equipment to bend conduit/pipe.
  17. Each year the DEC surveys duck hunters and region rep's as to what they feel the seasons should be and then take those suggestions and formulate the seasons based on that input(or so they say) within the guidelines established by the federal government.
  18. What a surprise. I also saw a drake merganser sitting on the edge of Redman Rd. Monday. Didn't seem to have a care in the world as the snow and my truck wissed by.
  19. Try to google his name. You'll be surprised what you may find.
  20. Shipbuilders is the first major point east of Irondequoit Bay. A small creek comes out there.
