    I tie my own cod rig with 30lb big game 3 hook set up so the lower hook is right on the bottom. Also try hitting the bait with pure oil of anise I have seen times at Platts where it turns the fish right on

    i use clipper or lauvick with shrink tube on them to be tangle free on windy days

    it could be tough this year Jason I am going on the 19th and plan to put in at the state park cause I don't think the pond will be open. Things need to change in a big way tween now and then. I would say that you will be able to get in Oswego by then.

    I use 10lb fluorocarbon all the way its nice to have on the boards a bit less streach helps hook ups

    2 feet in the bay all the way out the slot the entrance has about 6 inches we need some warm weather

    overall what is the best month to fish the big O out of the Fairhaven area for trout and salmon, while the salmon are still silver? If you had 2 weeks of that month to fish when would it be?
