    Right now its shrink wrapped and i dont want to unwrap it . Im looking for some old photos I should have soon. KJ I bought a Northcoast 23 hardtop hand made in Bristol RI another great down east boat, and got a deal that I could not refuse they want to get into the Great Lakes fishing boat business, They make Hunt yachts there and Hincklys that are very high end boats Hunt is the guy who started Boston Whaler. They are also are making a 27 footer that will be ready for the Boston Boat Show. It is a very high quality hull with only the best accessories used. I urge anyone who is looking for a new boat to check them out, and they will make the boats right to your needs, A down east boat like Sisu, and Eastern that are made for the northeast Atlantic that make a excellent Great Lakes boat asim sure you can attest to with your Eastern. check them out at www.northcoastboats.com and also go on the Hunt and Hinckley sites to get a idea of the top end boats they make there you will be impressed at the workmanship and price, I know I was.

    i only have a couple of weeks to get to the big O in the summer last year I was there the last 2 weeks of July first couple days were ok then the fish seemed to have vanished we fished to 350 feet of of water. Soon i will have to pick dates for this year I would like to fish for silver feeding kings I guess im going to put off picking weeks for as long as I can. Ultimately would like to have two weeks of good fishing with none of those fleas they can really be a hassle

    you can also call FFO fisherman's factory outlet they are a clearing house for Fenwick and Berkley and others I have got repaired Fenwick HMX and HMG rods for as little as 20.00 its hit or miss there

    Fair Haven is a great Family place in the summer nice places to stay the pond is good for water sking tubing ect, and there is a great state park right there.

    I like a all glass rod hard to find them anymore but a fenwick DR82C is the best also made in 7-6 and 8-6 there were a dozen or so on ebay earlier this year

    We fished last two weeks of April last year and caught 30-60 per day almost all species got to a point of putting on a stick that we could not get a fish ti hit, We used almost all thunderstick jr with spoons on the riggers.We also got our share of spring kings fishing in water from 6-20 feet 100-150 bak on boards 12lb test with 8 or 10 lb leader trolling the mud lines when they were there and otherwise a zig zag troll. I was very surprised to see so few boats out there with the fishing the way it was.For sure I will be there starting about April 19th this coming year. There are many good people on this site and offer great info just absorb it all.

    welcome when you coming up ? Ill be there for a couple weeks around April 17th I go to Fair haven in the spring always did well there last spring caught almost all species 30-60 per day

    I have looked at Mikes on line and many places I am looking at Northcoast, Easterns that are downeast boats around here. I am surprised that I don't see much for sale on and around the big lake and the finger lakes region.

    I am looking to re boat and have been looking on line around lake Ontario for a slightly used or new boat rigged for fishing the big O and I don't see much out there unless I want a eighties or early 90s boat. Are there any good marinas out there that have a good selection of quality boats for sale?
