  1. I carried the m-9 as a back up in the military. We had minor issues with stove pipes however that can be an ammo issue at times. I really liked it over all it is a double single and its a fun weapon. Depending on what you are looking for, I like glock. They are double action all the time but fire regardless of circumstance, condition, maintenance etc.
  2. I have a Crestliner Sabre SST216 with a Johnson 150 and Yamaha 9.9 kicker. I have unitrolls with 3ft beams on the rear corners a trax tech triple rod holder in the center and 2 rail mount tite lok rod holders on each side mounted to the hand rails. Looking for advise on where to put a net holder. I have a beckman salmon net and have been storing it collapsed next to the pilots chair. Would really like to put a holder somewhere out of the way where I can have it ready to go and would like to hit it right the first time. Any suggestions or locations that have worked for you all would be greatly appreciated. I have been considering the center of the dash above the cuddy door or on the floor next to the pilot ogle passenger seats. What's worked for you all over the years, ideas? Thanks.
  3. JimB- on my sylvan I could push on my outboard and the back of the boat would flex inward. Sometimes you can see a portion of the wood, if that's the case take a screw driver and if it penetrates the wood, you need to replace it. Also if you are installing a fish finder or other transom mounted accessory and drill out wet rotten wood it is likely time to replace. I am sure there are other ways as well b
  4. Check the Iboats forum for info. I used that site like crazy when I stripes my sylvan done to hull and built it back again. There is a great tin boat section with everything from complete rebuilds to just transoms. I was able to get mine out in three pieces by prying back and worth slowly working in up. Getting it out in one piece is ideal because you can the use it as a template for the new one. I recommend marine grade ply coated with west systems two part epoxy. Best of luck and fear not its not to bad.
  5. Marine plywood epoxied with west marine system 105 epoxy and 206 hardener. Two sheets glued together than epoxied is extraordinarily strong and will out last is all. That's how I did the transom in my tinny. If it's encased in fiberglass on top of the epoxy that would be unbelievably strong.
  6. Check out the i-boats forum. There is a "boat" load of info there with pictures of how others have done what your doing. It's a great resource and everyone on there like here is happy and willing to share their knowledge.
  7. Where is it located and where can it be seen? More details and some contact info will aid in your sale. Does it come with a trailer? Etc.
  8. Dunkirk/Barcelona are generally better fishing early. You can join Southtowns Walleye Association and fish the tournament in June plenty of info sharing and experience down there.
  9. FYI- All camo at Dicks Sporting Goods is 50% off.
  10. Don't have to look far to find them where there is no pressure. This monster was hanging out under the skyway in buffalo.
  11. Ended my season in 9H today. Saw 12 doe, that where pushed to me on a drive (when I clipped the tree) and three small ones moving in to feed just before dark. Great season, even with the "tree incident" (I'm claiming scope blindness) it ended strong. That's to all of you for the updates, info, and entertainment this thread has provided. Best of luck out there and stay safe. Only 3-4 months until spring Browns..........
  12. Not proud of this but I'll share it so you guys can get giggle. Swing and a miss
  13. Good luck all. May the force be with you........ Last sit for me this yr.
  14. Yep hunting is illegal in West Seneca. Solid proof the rut is toast down this way.
  15. I found the deer today. They have all relocated to west Seneca. Four bucks all comparable with about twenty does in one field.
  16. 0 here as well. They were all standing down the road as I drove home!
