    Today we fished straight out of IBay, starting around 9:00am and wrapping up around 1:00pm. We got one fish: a 13 pound king on a green and white Spin Doctor with a green and silver fly. We were fishing 40 feet down over 125 fow, roughly 30 feet behind the cannonball. Temperature at the lure was right around 50 degrees. Good luck out there!

    Thanks for the report! I did have the same thing happen with the ring and hook disappearing. I have a theory as to what happened… I had caught a fish on the same lure earlier and I had trouble getting the hook dislodged. I believe that in the process of trying to get the hook out that I had twisted the eye of the hook from being secure in the ring. The second fish took about 20 feet of line and adios!
