what's wrong with wearing a trump hat. fisherman wear different hats all the time. people have trump signs on there cars now. I'm starting to see young people wearing the hats now too. yes I;m from the far right, very far right. as far as you left wingers go. get an education and pick up a history book and read it. you might have a different opinion about our ways of thinking and supporting trump. trump is trying to put this country back to the way this country was founded. you people from the far left think this world is all love and fun loving and everything for free. what makes me laugh when somebody speaks the truth they don't want to hear it. if you don't like my hat I care less what you think.

I wear a trump hat now when I fish. never use a smartphone to get me out of touchy situations, just plain common sense

this lake had a good supply of native lakers years ago. only problem they reproduced to fast and never got too big. ciscoes are excellent bait fish. much better than sawbellies. dec can restock it with lakers but the lakers take a long time to get big. what I think would work here is stock it with walleyes and let the lakers reproduce on there own. fisherman would love to have the walleye here they grow very fast .

I been saying this now for over 40 years. we only have one party now. right wing and a left wing with a communist media lying to the people the left wing hates this country. they don't stand for anything for what our for fathers came here for. another thing that make me sick is this communist Democratic Party running our state. these people are destroying this beautiful state with big government with no values. they want to kill babies when they are ready to be born. this is godless. another thing that makes me sick is this Moran we have for governor wants to let illegal migrants to have a free drivers license. who do you think is going to pay for it. you and me. you think they will get car insurance hell no. they will get drunk and drive and kill innocent people on our highways. believe me it will happen. another thing that's pulling this state down. all cities now are a big dumping ground for people that are coming here the wrong way. I can go on and on with you. all I can tell you I feel sorry for the young people today. they better stick together and bring the weak one with the strong ones. a lot them like my trump hat they all say good things about it. trump is the best man during my lifetime. he's done so much for this country it could get better if the American people got rid of these democrats. more work could get down.

these DEC officers today like to row around in a small boat and sneak up on you and board your boat. fishing yrs ago I had Kellogg sneak up on me off deans cove. that Pr--k came on my boat sat next to me and went through all my fishing gear. he didn't do his job he was screwing with me. 6 yrs ago I ran into him again at the restaurant up in Ovid. we talked for about 3 hours fishing and the Railroad. he told me its no easy job being a dec officer. he met a lot of nice fisherman and bad ones out on the lake. he didn't remember me. he was forced out with a illness from his job. we talked he was a nice guy. that lire new me he played dumb. I wouldn't take no law enforcement job today. these people have to put up with more crap from the Aholes from the top. the system is roten to the core.

tough racket to be in if you want to be a charter captain today. if you take people out fishing you better have your boat up to date or they will put you out of business. 15 yrs ago I had a little problem out on Lake Erie with the cg. two guys with military rifles standing in there boat and the other one came aboard my boat to do an inspection. all they found wrong was flares out of date 2 months. they gave me a break but they warned me they were going to report it to Cleveland. if they catch me again I will pay a double fine. I cant complain not all law enforcement is extreme. next day I went to west marine to get new flares.

my phone is always in the box. its never turned on. I only use it if I want to make a call. if somebody sends me a message they won't get a reply. I only check my messages once every 3 months. when I read them they all get deleted. my phone is a dumb phone not a smart phone. I have the grandfather one where I buy 10 hours of use every year. my phone is about 15 yrs old. same battery same box it came in. this phone is very basic. its the last cell phone I will ever buy. lets talk about smart phones. I would never buy or use a smart phone because you have no privacy with it at all. most smartphones are made in china. the commonist party controls how they get built. they put chips in to monitored your phones if you know it or not. be careful what information you put in your smartphone. they read it. these phones are smarter than the people using it. my phone I have total control. its a dumb phone.

A cell phone is a tool. if you take care of it, it will take care of you. when you use a cell phone in the boat. you lock it up and keep it dry. when its time to use it, take it out and keep it dry while using it. put it back on charge and store it when not using it. who needs to spend a lot of money for some water proof battery if they drop it in the water. what good is it. explain to me how somebody can drop a cell phone in the water. I see people all over today walking with a cell phone in their hands texting and talking and have no idea where they are walking. this is what happends to a society when technology takes over their brain. society becomes brain dead.

with all the technology we have today. how can a cell phone battery go dead in a boat. all you need is a usb plug that connects to your battery and plug the phone in it. that's it.

VHF radios are still used for emergency purpose on the finger lakes. I know the Seneca county police monitored it. I very seldom turn it on. I'm the old fashion type fisherman that if I have a problem I find a way to get off the lake by myself with no help. I know we have a few home base that monitor the radio also. I think its channel 16. the most important thing to have on the boat if you have a problem is good anchor rope. don't carry 50 ft carry 500 ft. anchor the boat and someone will find you. cell phone is good but I don't use one. Fishing the finger lakes is a different game. fishing the great lakes can be very dangerous if you don't have the proper safety gear on board. Seneca lake is the most dangerous finger lake. this lake can kick up in a hurry. I fished this lake a lot at night over the years. your on your own if you have a problem here at night.

Fox news today is CNN lite. its no better than the other left wing communist news networks. if you want real news go watch the independent news networks. no fake news here. just real news that tell the truth. Two weeks ago the wife and I went up to the Adirondacks for a 9 day camping trip. all the years. I have use a truck camper to camp and fish. I never been pulled over for anything. police pulled me over for a safety check. they ask if I had my propane on to run the fridge. I said no. they check it walked around the truck found no violations. like i said in my above post the police are cracking down all over. people with RV and motor homes watch yourself. make sure you have your propane off when you are driving on a state highway. never pull in to a gas station with it on. if you get caught with it on you will pay a hefty fine. this state is out to get my wallet.

DEC writes out a ticket, your guilty. you go to court and the judge ask you, how do you plead, you say innocent the judge ask you do you have a lawyer you say no. judge will tell you 200 dollar fine. pay it or bend over. some of you guys here watch to much fake news. My flares are out of date now for 5 years. they still work. if I took my boat out on the great lakes and the coastguard saw them I probably get a ticket. Seneca and Cayuga lakes are connected to the great lakes system. that means the rules apply here too. do they enforce it i haven't seen them do it yet. I don't think the state police are concerned about out of date flares on the finger lakes. what they look for is drunk boaters, boat speed and firearms on your boat. if you want to use flares on the finger lake get them. its boat safety. i;m going to get new flares soon. i'm overdue for a trip out on lake Erie. watch your drinking out on these lakes. the police know we have a drinking and drug problem with our society.

State police are cracking down all over. govern yourself stay clean. if one comes up to you treat him with respect. this state is getting worse everyday. the people are nuts alone with the rotten politicians running it. they are out to get your wallet. these bastards wont get my money. you give them rope they will hang you with it.

This will be the last year for overflow camping. next year when the new company takes over they will control the open field. who knows what they plan to do with the land. the state had no interest maintaining an open field along with 7 cabins. look around ny state. a lot of parks are falling apart. they all need money. ny is broke. only way to improve this problem sell off the parks system to private interest and let them run it. our state government is to big. special interest get the money all we get out of it is higher taxes and more government control put on us. I wish I could cut ny city away from the earth and let it drift out in the ocean.

They have the road now. the road leading to the marina. the state gave up half the park. I think the concession stand is going too along with those 7 cabins we see now. the area they took starts from the woods along the campsites the overflow field and about 2 miles south past those 7 cabins. who knows what they have planed for that open field. I tried to get more information but she was tight lip. I give it 10 years. the state will sell off the campground too. you heard season campsites up north. I hope they bring them here too. this is a good deal for us. I know i'm going to need the season launch permit here. I can see the hand writing on the wall.

I checked out our new marina yesterday. had a talk with a very reliable source. first its looking good. they got a lot done the last two weeks. my source said it should be done by mid June lol. I did learn this outfit is taking over this place for 40 years. the state is giving up the big field in front of the marina from the woods on the south side of the park. the state is only taking the campground. the state will have full control of the campground. the state will have no control of the marina and all buildings from the woods south a few miles. that means no more over flow camping next year. if you come in the park and just want to camp or walk around you come under the park rules. if you want to use the marina. you have to deal with them. the state will have no say. this year will be the same. next year new ball game. this place is going to change. its not going to be the same old Sampson state park. be glad we got somebody to come in and put some money in this place. we need it.
