  1. Yes, totally agree on that! Got out tonight, lost a nice one on dipsey, probably 30 feet down. Beautiful sunset. Hey Les, I was over to Runnings yesterday, heard some guy talking about a guy who was trying to make an aquarIum out of his wifes car?? Care to comment? Or would you like me to elaborate?!!
  2. Got out yesterday morning for a couple hours-shake down run. Not much happening, fished in 450 500 feet. around Lodi Pt. Marked fair amount of bait 350-400 feet down. One little guy on the rig, managed to shake him off. Nothing on 2 top lines, running stickbaits. Surface temp 40.. Sorry for the line...Back at it this evening.
  3. Thanks. With me, luck has about 90% to do with catching something!
  4. 36 degrees today. going fishin tomorrow!
  5. If Seneca be careful. A lot of partially submerged junk, some fence post size. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. 37 degrees today.[emoji46] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. Temp today 39 and change. (39.3 for you, Les)
  8. Sure does seem late. I`ve got a trail cam pic from two weeks ago with a deer looking at the cam from about 2 feet. You can see the bumps on his head where new antlers have started.
  9. Ah ha! I think I`ll keep that info in my back pocket in case he tries any "funny stuff". TY.
  10. Please don't put the hex on me.I don't want to get skunked on Derby weekend.[emoji29] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. I knew you were a man of many talents, but didn't know you could practice black magic. [emoji6] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. Water temp back down to 43 yesterday. This wind has mixed the water up. Yes I know there is a line through these sentences. No, I don`t know how to eliminate it.
  13. Yep, that's the one. Sounds like you fellas are catching some good numbers. Good luck this season. Maybe we'll see you on the water on Seneca. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. Off topic but I have to comment on Tom. One of the most honest, nice fellas I`ve ever met. Definitely the toughest guy I ever knew. Over the years Tom processed a small mountain of deer for me. About 15 years ago I sold him a thermocline rig, a green 6 1/2 footer w/ a penn 49m. Maybe you inherited it.
  15. Are you related to Tom? If so, you have gotten some good instruction. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. Les` method works great if you are ok boating only "hammerhandles".
  17. My boat is prepped and weather permitting, will go in early next week. Chomping at the bit to get going. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. Ya know, they have medication for that condition... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. 47 degrees today. Yes Les, I double checked...
  20. Temp today was down to 42.
  21. Yea, I was a bit surprised it was that high.. Same thermometer as last year, and was accurate w/air temp. before I submerged it.
  22. Dropped the thermometer in today for the season. A couple time a week I`ll post the temps. Taken a bit N of Lodi Pt. in 3 feet of water. Today it`s 44. (Yes, I have a bad case of cabin fever too.)
  23. Ok, I`ll take it. Can meet you in t-burg most any time. Will PM you info.
  24. I ended my season last night, catching a doe at 4:15 pm sneaking through hardwoods on her way out to feed in the hay fields. It has been pretty slim pickins in zone 8s and 8j the last two weeks. Final tally for me; a doe and buck in bow, a doe and buck in rifle, and a doe in muzzle. I have more tags but have plenty of venison for family and friends. Saw 7 different bucks in bow season, only 1 buck in gun. The monarch buck that a lot of us were after was taken in early gun. All in all a very enjoyable season for me.Thanks to Legacy for the thread again this year, and all who contributed. It has been great to hear others experiences and see some great bucks. Hop
