Yeah, I may end up doing that. Been thinking about your method of entering from front. Hoist controls are towards lake, have been entering from back. Maybe removable planks so Tasha and Mrs. can get in the front. Will keep experimenting.😃 Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I have a board spanning between hoist legs. Didn't think about hanging a rope,good idea. Also have a 72lb. Senior canine that loves to boat, but not so easy mounting and dismounting. Somehow manage to get it done. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

That looks like a good idea My trouble is stepping from my dock down into the boat. The fishmaster is so much deeper than my last boat. I have to step from the dock down onto the storage shelf in the boat, then onto a small st ool, then onto the floor. Not the best or safest method, but haven't been able to find anything else. Any suggestions appreciated!

That is a great looking setup. Is that a 4500# r and g? Is your rig a 19 or 21? I ask because I am on the east side, with a 19 ft. fishmaster in a 4500 r and g. Last winter I took a chance and left hoist in water, and almost regretted it. This fall will be bringing it on shore and adding tires to it.
