  1. Scott I would be more than happy to take those Pirates off your hands. Let me know I can do PayPal if needed or whatever way
  2. I had this installed last year for work but changed positions and no longer need this. It is lockable and in like new condition. It is lockable and has lift assist as well. Would like to get $1000 as I paid $1400 and was installed in Victor. It can be installed with 2 guys and takes about 10 minutes
  3. It might be a good thing between the 2. The thing I noticed is that Cabekas was set up more for the hunting side and Bass Pro was more fishing related. Now Cabelas owns a lot of property which they lease out for hunting and also has a number of guides who work on much of the land in the Midwest. I know they have property here in NY as well as a buddy is a outfitter for them and hasn't been told anything pertaining to his duties or what not. It's early yet but for $5.5 billion that is a big chunk of change to make up so I wouldn't be surprised to see items go up in price as well being they are pretty much monopolizing the national market with this merger. Who knows but I hope it doesn't sacrafice quality and service. Also have to consider the marine side to cause there are 2 major brands involved Nitro and Ranger. Gonna be interesting as the details come out for sure.
  4. Interested in Lot 2 and lot 8 let me know I have paypal and ready
  5. I hope that the product line doesn't go downhill cause there is a big difference between the 2 stores in quality.

    Seneca gold

Finally starting to show up. They have been hit and miss can't wait to get out there for some of that gold
  7. A press release just sent out today by the DEC: I have shortened the important info, (please see below) IN MY HONEST OPINION I do not see this impacting us. Also keep in mind, for 2017- 2019 there will be Zero impact at all.... So with the minimal proposed cut-back (taking into consideration a possibly higher percentage in 2017) We may feel no impact what so ever until the year 2021 if even then !!! I certainly expected a much higher proposed percentage then below...A great fact to relate to is what we as anglers experienced in 2010 and 2011, the doom and gloom thought disappeared fast those 2 seasons as we had stellar fishing, this with only 800k stocked in 2008 Keep in mind: I know many are fast to blame our DEC for just about everything that has ever gone wrong, but we have had Kings "in the system" to chase for many years, their decisions haven't been bad right along. The ultimate controller is good ole' Mother Nature !!! DEC info, please read DEC is considering a 20% reduction in Chinook salmon stocking in 2017 (reduce from 1.76 million to 1.41 million fish), which amounts to a 10% overall reduction when wild Chinook salmon are included. This action would reduce alewife consumption attributable to Chinook salmon by 7.5 million pounds over the period from 2018-2020. We are also considering a 20% reduction in 2017 lake trout stocking (New York reduction from 500,000 to 400,000 fish) DEC is proposing to maintain current stocking targets for rainbow trout, brown trout and coho salmon for 2017, is working cooperatively with the OMNRF to ensure consistent management actions on both sides of the lake. Potential Impacts to the Sportfishery – This stocking reduction is intended to protect the long-term viability of this economically important fishery. Given a 20% reduction in Chinook salmon stocking is actually 10% lake wide reduction (accounting for 50% wild Chinook salmon), the potential impact to the sportfishery is likely minor. We experienced an unplanned stocking reduction in the past without negative impacts to the sportfishery. Due to reduced Chinook salmon egg collections at the Salmon River Hatchery caused by low water and high water temperatures in 2007, DEC stocked only 799,000 Chinook salmon in the spring of 2008, a 42% reduction (NY/Ontario combined). When these fish reached age 2 in 2010 and age 3 in 2011, they supported excellent Chinook salmon fishing quality. As anglers experienced in 2014 and 2015, fishing success is much more likely to vary due to spatial distribution of alewife, water temperatures, weather patterns, and wind speed/direction Quote from Tom allen
  8. I will be there and hope we can all come together as a group to make a statement.
  9. When that water temp hits the mid 60's they start coming in from the big lake. I usually start in Irondequoit and then work my way to Seneca or Keuka for the slobs. Minnows are your best bait til they school up thick then just need to drop shot them with jigs
  10. Yes sir they are effective when used over a scrap or make a mock scrape. The best time to use it is when we start getting the cold nights which are coming up. Now would the time to get it out, as the weather gets colder hopefully and these bucks start bldg their hormones they will be more and more effective until the rut then who knows what they do but I have used estrous in one as well.
  11. Fish307.com would be the best bet. Located near lake George and have every part needed for Cannon's
  12. No when the fish hits and the leader slides down most of the time but smaller fish might not but depending on your release it usually lets go. I noticed that I see the fish bouncing the rod a bit before it releases so we usually pop them before but you have to reel fast to get that slack up as the leader slides down to the mainline snap
  13. Just seen pics and the pier fishing has started turning a few salmon up.
  14. We had that happen also. We have not a farm in Chili and we decided to walk the tracks to come in backside of farm and we came across a pile of carcasses. Call DEC and them and a trooper showed up, ended up being 13 deer in pile mostly does some had straps taken out and other weren't even touched. The bucks were caped out and heads taken. Made me sick cause we had some of those bucks in camera and they were big but not prime yet. Never found out who was dumping them either as the DEC never found any slugs or shells in the pile or deer. Poachers are smart and lord knows if I ever caught one **** is gonna fly
  15. Yah figured that out after I posted. It's the fishing withdrawals and now hunting prep, stressed the hell out cause I am no where near ready.
  16. Scott me personally haven't had any luck with that brand per say. I have done everything in order as for the round up, lime and the tilling. The brand I do have the best outcome with is Invite X. They can make a custom blend or just buy the blend they have pre mixed. Very weed hardy and some what shade tolerant to as my plots are in my woods. Actually the KBO guys turned me onto it when I was discussing my issues with other brands. They are on Facebook as well with reviews and testimony also. I am not mocking other brands just what works better for me in the woods
  17. Well it's depends on what your gonna use it for. If your just putting it around then any deep cycle will work but if your constantly moving around then a good AGM group 31 battery in Deep cycle would be the way to go. The amperage is what you want to look for cause the higher amperage the better recovery time your gonna get and not drain it totally dead. Either way you want to keep a solid charge on it when your not using it.
  18. Yah we had to lower our straps last weekend. Luckily is was choppy to lift boat off and float out. Last year we added chains to the end of our cables so we could lower them when the lake level dropped
  19. Yah they actually just arrived and I am staring at back of boat trying to visualize where they will be mounted and then where to put my transducers. The design of this boat I don't think was thought thru very well. The inside is perfect for whatever style fishing you may want to do but there is about a 4" chine on each side and no ribs what so ever. So the control factor wasn't thought thru. I am sure I will be set once these are installed but damn I would rather drop $1000 on fishing gear than this but safety and performance first.
  20. Haven't had it on the problem still persists so my tabs should be here today, gonna have to move my transducers around a bit but I believe I shouldn't have to throw more money into a brand new boat for a handling issue. If a hull issue then Smoker craft should take a look at the design because I am getting more responses on other threads with people having the same issues
  21. There is the difference right there. Literally it's a full V from side walls to keel. The tabs will solve the rolling for sure but shocked they didn't put in any strakes or chimes on the bottom off hull but who am I and I haven't looked at the bottom completely til now, outside of the torque from prop causing boat to pitch it's really stable. Yah I reall wanted to do what you did in the cabin to make like a rod rack where sink and potty was and add tackle storage there as well. My buddy just bought a trophy but I/O with the low motor cover in back. We rigging it to the max cause he is all out.
