  3. Hi Fellas, Whats everyones opinion on using scent , do it dont do it ,?? What kind? Has it seemed to make a difference in salmon, steelies and lakers. I have used it for other freshwater applications, sometimes it made a difference, sometimes not. Thanks for your time

  5. Went monday morning , one long , one short, on worm harness with nightcrawler. Went again wednesday evening into the dark, caught one short. I was in the Massena area, anybody doing anything good there ??? Guys at the ramp say its been slow.
  6. Not jointed. I have trolled them in oswego, they work and have also caught big browns and big smallmouths

  9. did you attach to the lead core to go deeper or use different line??
  10. I guess you wouldnt put it on the copper itself , but the leader where it meets the copper . How far from spoon or lure do you think is a good number to not spook fish. 8 ft per ounce, hmm, good to know.
  11. Never tried them, do people like using them ?? what the advantage over say snap weights ,or some other lead weight you add . Can you use them on copper , add says you can , but adds always say you can do everything. Any thoughts??

  13. Hi Jason8333, Im new to, I just introduced myself last month, the guys on here are pretty good. I would spend hours and hours going thru past threads picking apart everything you think pertains to what you have equipment wise and how you want to fish, tons of info on here make your head spin.

  15. Still learning how to run spreads, would you mind elaborating on how you fish that shallow??? What were the divers set at to be that shallow?? all I can think of are slide divers with a very long lead. The split shot rigs-were you using mono or braid , maybe on on boards??? Any advice would be most appreciated. Chuck
  16. Me and the boys will be heading up around fathers day fishing the st lawrence for walleyes and pike. We do ok on the eyes , caught some pike here and there, never caught a muskie. Any advice on pike or Muskie would be a great help, I dont expect gps coordinates , color , lure type , what to look for , anything you want to share , again thank you for any information. Chuck
  17. Sk8man, you should not of said that ,LOL. As maybe youve seen in my posts ,Im a newbie , but I was thinking of doing what you said about shorter coppers and adding weights. Could you help by explaining how you set that up meaning how much weight and how much additional backer you let out to get to a certain depth? Snap weights, yes,Ive also read guys using rubberbands with a half hitch to attach weights, any thoughts?? Chuck
