    Yes, Palomar knots for me as well...I make sure to tie the bead chain to the leader first, then the main line next so I can use a palomar knot on both ends of the bead chain. Tie snap on end to attach spoon.

    I go with a bead chain swivel then attach flouro leader with a snap at the end for the spoon or FF combo I'm running. Leader length depends on rod size and preference when handling and netting fish.

    I fished on Sunday around Selkirk in the morning and boated four browns, one was 10 lbs. We moved out to 50 ft in front of catfish and marked a lot of fish but no takers. Monday we started around Selkirk again and didn't have a release! We moved out to 50 ft and fished from there up to the Salmon river and marked lots of fish...no takers. Browns came on spoons and bay rat gobie. We kept the big brown and it was feeding on gobies!

    Most of my evil eyes are the light metal and flutter well under slower speeds I like to troll in the early spring for nearshore browns

    YES...we caught some just west of the plant on Monday/Tuesday in 60-70 ft of water. We fished spoons and caught salmon 50-55 down 75 back, some down 25 caught fish too! Green/silver spoons

    I fished the Mexico/ Oswego area on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and did pretty well on a mixed bag of browns, salmon and lakers. Sunday we fished Mexico bay for browns and caught three 5-6 lb fish. Monday we decided to head west and I did the best in front of the plant or just west in 50-70 ft of water. Most of the salmon were coming on spoons 50-55 down, 75 back but Tuesday evening we were marking some fish around 20-25 ft down and decided to run some spoons higher. We fished on Monday and Tuesday afternoon and we caught 6 salmon between 14-18 lbs. Green/silver spoons were hot!
