  1. There's an flta event tomorrow on Cayuga. Will be alot of guys at deans
  2. I noticed that just after I had posted but couldn't figure out how to change title it's been a long week
  3. People just have no sense of courtesy or intelligence during boating season.... This guy had a note on his windshield when he got back... Even the weed checker at the ramp said the guy knew he did it. She saw him park look at it several times then lock his doors and walk away. Next time he'll be missing a mirror.
  4. For sure Joe. It's going to be very soon
  5. Boat ramp manners I just want to throw this out there because it's really been irritating lately. It seems as fisherman we have forgot how to make it easy on one another to load and unload boats efficiently. The pic below is of what I came back to today at the ramp. What you can't see is the single vehicle parked on the other side of me in a way that made it impossible for me to cut my wheel enough to get around this joker... Also the guy in the single car happens to be standing at the jeep behind me (preventing me from attempting to back straight out even though I would've kissed mirrors with this truck anyway) and stood there talking for 15minutes while I clearly was trying to get out of this spot. Just please try to show respect and park in designated areas and get in the spot. Your tire or mirror hanging over isnt ok and after your boat is out get out of the way for the next guy....
  6. I just spoke with one of the workers today about this she said they did alot of lake trout from all age classes and alot allot of them were stuffed with sawbellies. So basically goes with the theory that the fish are there we just suck at competing against the bait
  7. It was bad today even out to 200ft of water
  8. Good news I hope I can be lucky enough to win some of your rigs!
  9. Brian- Dylan Margeit posted just above you and I'm not sure if Corey has an account or not but both are probably best to reach by phone
  10. Sorry I can't answer those questions if I had to take my best guess I would say would have to be by the night before and I'm sure you could mail it however they are both fairly willing to meet people within a reasonable distance to sign up. Their numbers are located at bottom of page. Dylan lives near horseheads overheads and Corey is up around ovid.
  11. This is a box event so it's not a "board" system best combination of a 1 mans Cayuga lake daily limit Yes you may launch anywhere deans cove will probably be busy but there are various launches on the lake. Makes it that much more of a challenge. Do you fish out of deans with the crowd or do you find fish elsewhere and drive a hair farther to weigh In. I'm In the Finger lakes Trollers association the weigh in is in Ovid aswell however guys launch at various launches
  12. Here is a sign up sheet that can be printed and returned to Corey Reddit or Dylan Margeit with your entry fee
  13. Here is the sign up sheet that can be printed and given to Corey Reddit or Dylan Margeit with your entry fee

  15. $30 per person includes the $5 for lunker. Everyone in boat must be registered. Sorry about the confusion
  16. Tom Margeit Memorial tournament Who's ready for this tourney less than 2 weeks away better sign up asap! Looking to be a good turn out! Chicken bbq after!
  17. Look into Garmin units aswell. I have a Garmin 53cv that I picked up on sale for 299 at bps this winter and I love it. The GPS mapping is great and the sonar has several awesome functions aswell.
  18. Not a good sign. Hope that fish was kept and reported to Dec
  19. Scotty manual riggers are the bee's knees trust me I fish very often and we fish super hard. I use 13lb weighs although they are rated for up to 20 and we drag bottom and put allot of strain on them. Also the 2ft per turn horizontal crank takes allot of strain off the arms while cranking up heavy weights from the depths. I wouldn't go to anything else if I had to at this point
  20. Don't be afraid to try different tactics. However don't be afraid of Seneca and that's coming from someone who loves Cayuga lake
  21. Wouldve been my reccomendation aswell. Forgot he heads to Ontario this August
  22. Pretty good argument that we are just struggling to fish against all the bait
