The guy with the same boat does that exact thing, kicker locked straight and uses twins as a rudder although I have a garmin autopilot running off of mine and need to make sure it will still work okay with mains off.

The panther swim platform mount is approx 11" wide and would fit in the space but motors would be tight. I'm thinking I would have to buy the mount and mock it up and see if the motors hit with a tie bar between them.

Exact same boat as mine has this setup on it but im trying to get away from using that adjustable bracket. Don't like the idea of having to reach down and loosen the knobs and drop and raise bracket every time.

Does anyone know what the minimum recommended spacing is between main motor and a kicker? I have a dual outboard Pursuit with a small swim platform built into the boat transom. I want to install a kicker on the starboard side next to my main motors but don't think I have enough room. I want to use a swim platform mount instead of the moveable mounts that bolt through the transom. Looking to purchase a adventure marine or panther swim platform mount. I think that if I tie the kicker to the main with a tie bar it might work.

They are biting all day long, time has not mattered at all for me.

I meant the pump itself when it is working, mine is connected to one of my main motors. I think I might have a little bit of air trapped although it works good.

Is yours loud when it's running? I installed one in my boat and it seems loud to me but not sure if it's normal or not.

Trim tabs will be money well spent. They are probably the best add on I have put on my boat. I bought Bennett Bolt trim tabs for mine.

Without a doubt get the 72, if it is installed correctly it doesn't interfere with the windshield or docking. The extra length will be closer to the windshield so im not sure how it would interfere with casting. Buy a Cisco shaft support for it so the head doesn't bounce around when not in use.
