We welcome charter captains and anglers to join us and learn the latest on Great Lakes fisheries science at two upcoming events. 

 

 

Oswego - April 29, 2026 | 4-8 PM | McCrobie Civic Center. Featured speakers include Brian Weidel (USGS) to talk alewife and juvenile salmon, Ellen Karboski (SUNY Oswego) discussing yellow perch aging, Lyndsie Collis (SUNY Oswego) providing updates on lake trout and habitat projects, and Stacy Furgal (NYSG) covering net pens. 

Clayton - May 7, 2026 | 12-4 PM | Clayton Opera House. Featured speakers include Jana Lantry (Region 6 DEC) to talk about regional updates, John Farrell (SUNY ESF) sharing research results from TIBS, Alex Gatch (USGS) to talk lake trout and habitat, and Stacy Furgal (NYSG).
