Set out first thing Friday and went straight out of Wilson to 100 fow and started scanning. Screen wasn’t great so decided to keep on our way and headed east towards olcott and set up in 200. Didn’t take too long until we had some rods moving with nothing but skips. Had a few decent hook ups with no success until the 300 copper pulled in a nice coho with the meat. Shortly after our mag diver took the king in 275fow down about 90-100 on burnt wonder bread. Today came around and knew the east winds were going to kick up so I took advantage of the calmer morning and got as far east as I could just planning to ride the waves back. Ended up starting in 350fow just east of olcott. It was one of those days where we rarely had all the rods set at once. Constant action and good marks from 350-200. No rhyme or reason today as to what they wanted. Meat on the copper took an 8lb king. Once again burnt wonder bread on the mag diver brought in the big fish in the day. Spoons on the riggers/sliders also took a couple shots. I was finding 42/44 degrees down about 70 feet in some parts. Our big fish always came from the ice box deep. Some decent bait balls around as well but didn’t seem to have much on them.
