Stinger treble hooks ?

Hi Everyone,

 

I fish mostly Lake Champlain although had a great trip over here this spring.  I will be in Sandy Pond last week of August and have just received an order of stinger lures which I have have seen here working well currently.  I am surprised they come with trebles and is there anyone that regularly changes out them to singles ?  What single hooks do you use ?   Also help with other must have lures for that time of year...........J plugs ?    Meat rigs ??    Advice which shop to stop to buy tackle and get some advice ??

I think most people at the East End of Lake Ontario,  use triple hooks for almost everything they troll with.
