Went out with my son yesterday evening to do one final troll to make sure everything was working as it should before we put the boat up for sale. Went to pull out the fish hawk and found that the cap was cracked 🤦🏼‍♂️. No trolling last night. Brought the jigging rods incase I came across a good king screen. So just decided to drift and fish to marks. Fished about two hours before the NE started to get unpleasant. Hooked 3 kings and missed a hit. Only brought one into the boat. My son loved fighting them though! Looks like the jig bite is still alive and well out there.
