Looking to explore Oak Orchard upstream from the launch. Is there enough flow to get a nice canoe or kayak paddle in? Don’t mind a bit of hauling but if it is mostly a slog will

pivot.

With the high water, you could get to the dam with ease.

Absolutely, nothing will impede you.  Depending on how adventurous you are, you could also carry a kayak down hill at Park ave. extension and park a vehicle down stream some where and do a long down stream float or paddle. It is a decent hill at Park ave so you might want to check it out first. I have seen people carry a one man canoe up it though. Have fun, good luck!
