What set ups works well for kings this part of the season?

trolling eastern basin with 1 rigger (Henderson/stony point area). Thought about stacking lines and then running a Dipsy, copper or Ledcore on the other side. I've seen quite a few options for presenting where the fish are. Trying to hit it before they run up the tributaries.

this is for a relatively smaller sized personal watercraft.

appreciate the recommendations. First year getting out there.

Most of the fishing will be in the trench and if you find yourself amongst a lot of traffic, which can certainly be the case in the trench, you run the risk of tangling up with other boats with long coppers and even wire dipsies so keep that in mind. I have found that trench fishing, often less is more. It can be a tough bite in the trench, low light conditions are often best. Id say a wire dipsey is the way to go.
