Since nobody else will share, I will start things off. Fished Oswego Labor Day before it got ugly.

6:30 to 10:30. Right out in front.

Went 5 for 6 on Kings and one small brown. Not bad for a weekend warrior. No Fish Hawk just downriggers and Dipseys.

60 to 120 FOW.  Down 60 on riggers 25' behind balls. Divers on # 3 out 160. Flasher Flies and Meat rigs.

They love Hammer Flies!

Nothing huge all in the teens but fun and that's what it is all about.

Well it's off to Kentucky for early season Bow Whitetails.

Will try more fishing when I return.

Don't know why the east end of the lake is so difficult to get reports on.

Did well 120- 140 FOW off Fairhaven Saturday and today. 6 for 8 for the weekend. Half off braid dipseys.  Blue Dolphin and Dragon slayers/crinkle green were mainstays. Green UV with black and yellow dots and a variety of that did well. Best weekend this hack had had in awhile.

A lot of east end guys post daily reports on Facebook on a few of the lake ontario trolling centric pages - can also follow some of the specific guys on their personal or business pages so those reports show up in your feed.  Seems like that's where things have generally transitioned.  Much like the VHF was key years ago to talking on the water - we now only use ours to chat while way offshore beyond cell coverage - otherwise its all texting and direct calling within your peer network while on the water.   Great catch by the way!

Regarding East End Guys,
I've been up once in the past couple years (had some medical issues) and that was to the west end, I posted what we did.
But aside from that,
I am a member of a message board here in CT "ctfisherman.com" and have noticed the same thing on their site.
Where there used to be a plethora of reports every week,

Now there may be one or two.

For example, in "River Reports" the last thing posted was August 17, and that was me.
There have been six reports in "Salt Water Reports" in the past two weeks (salt is a big thing down here, especially this time of year).
And most reports are from the same handful of old farts who refuse to move on (I'm one of them).
Forums like this used to provide a wealth of information, but folks have gotten away from them.
Now I imagine it's all Facebook and their own personal sites.
I watch Mexico Bay reports kind of closely and have also noted a significant drop in reports over the past few years.
C'est la vie.
