im from florida so not used to fresh water fishing

im in ny and i need to know if theirs eny good hot spots around by see breezs or eny spots at the genesee river

Try the piers at both of those locations. This time of year for bass and perch then later in the fall for trout and salmon. Stop in at Mitchell's bait and tackle on Lake ave. and they can let you know what has been happening and steer you in the right direction as far as bait, tackle, etc. Also check out Bayside boat and tackle off Empire blvd. at the south end of irondequoit bay. they will help you out and you could also rent a canoe or boat there.
