Walleye fishing in the Quinte area.

Recommended Posts

Fishing ReportI'm gathering tips on Walleye fishing in the Quinte area. I use a 14 foot alluminum shallow boat with a 9.9 outboard. Has anyone got any tips on the best place to launch and fish in medium water. I do fish Lake Ontario by Toronto with a Dipsey setup.

Thanks Nevada

Hey, I am going to launch out of Deseronto, then you have access to allot of sheltered fishing with out the big water. I think the fire fighters will help launch your boat and give you a spot to park it was 10 bucks last year.

There is a free launch on number 2 in the small village of Point Anne, but not allot of parking. And can be some big water on Big Bay.

Thanks very much for the tip, I'll keep in mind. Just came back from Algonquin Park on Canoe Lake. The Lake Trout were about 10 feet down but couldn't get them to bite. The wind was 60 km plus and some blowing snow squalls. Next stop, Shining Tree for Walleye and Norhern Pike.
