SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Didn't want to head 18 miles out to the shipping lanes so just stayed close to port off the finger. Started out trying for a king, didn't take to long. Hit a white e-chip with a hammer behind it down 105. Wouldn't say it was a skip but not muchbigger. After that things got slow so we put down a few cowbells and things started popping off left and right. 45 minutes later 12 lakers and 6 over 10 pds. You have to love the finger. After we limited out went back for the kings, boated a few small ones and had many short hits. All and all a good day. Big guys shouldn't be far behind, going back out tuesday.

we fished the lanes sat am. and sunday am before being blown off. you can pick away at lakers, but the only kings around seem to be tiny. three man limits on lakers happen in the first hour with cowbells on the bottom.

the finger was probably a smart choice.
