Canandaigua 8/18 a.m.

Decided to try Canandaigua this morning for a few hours and was determined to give my wire/flasher/flies a "fair" shot before going to the old standby - "meat rig".

Well marked good bait and fish, and hooked into several right away, but had the dropsies . First 4 got off, only 1 felt decent, but still 0-4, not good. Finally got 1 in the net, a LT just over 8lbs.

Ran 2 wires, out 160-210 on #3 setting over 75-150FOW. Green flasher/fly combos.

Gave the meat rig a run for 1/2 hour and managed a 19" pig of a smallie , suspended in 75FOW.

Fished the north end, ~7:30-10:30a.m.
