Ice Boom Removal Niagara River 2011

The Boom Days celebration is listing the 14-16th which usually coincides with the boom removal. Best guess will be Thursday? I would not make plans to fish the river or bar area this weekend. The ice bergs come down and pile just west of Wilson.

TV2 reported this morning the boom will start to go out this afternoon, probably when the winds subside

The ice bridge below the falls has gone out also.

the wind pushed alot of ice down the river already, and with the removal of the boom today it wont be long i'm pumped nothing like hittin a king!!!

Hope the wind keeps up so all the debris gets pushed down the lake. That stuff can be hazardess to the props.
