looking for older reels that have real gears in them

Does anybody know where I can find older trolling reels that actually use metal in gears. We had a brand new okuma out monday, the worm gear quit. Opened it up, somehow, probably inexperience caused the worm gear to strip. Darn thing was plastic. They will warranty it, bit i would rather have metal. Bound to be somebody in the finger lakes with a shop they carrys older better stuff.

OKUMA is great to deal with, I use Daiwas and Okumas... I like penns and shimanos too, but i cant afford all the goodies. Okuma has helped me out in the past!!

I have some older diawa 27H level wind reels, these are great for browns and steelhead, all metal. think I have 3 left. I put new drag washers in them before I switched to line counters several years ago.
