Fishing from shore Taughannock

Howdy,

Does anyone know when the fishing from shore at Taughannock falls state park on Cayuga starts to pick up for trout? I know they do well there after the cool down but will this be in December or do they start coming up shallow before that? thanks

Lots of people fishing off the wall and mouth of the creek yesterday. Didn't see any nets moving. We did pick up a few going by just out of casting reach.

Family and I camped there this weekend. I took a walk down with my daughter on Sunday morning and both guys there each had a colored up brown. One guy caught his on an egg sack under a bobber, and the other on a rapala.

No fishing for me, I had my hands full trying to keep my 3 year old daughter out of the drink, as well as my black lab. LOL

dec-apr seem to be the best but u don't know till you try. the ll and bt are in prespawn - lockjaw mode the lt are hitting egg sacs but as soon as there done spawning they seem to head in shallow for a feed. good luck and pm me if you have any questions i'm a regular down there
