SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Newbie here first post. Just wanted to say thanks again to the guy at Narbys that helped me out he was a customer and I needed some questions answered after reading what I could here. He took time out of his afternoon to help me pick out and set up a dipsey driver setup for 2 poles. When we got to the point we went to launch the boat and found out some jerk(me) had left the key in the on position and killed the battery. My wife drove from Kendall and we tryed to get it started with battery booster and than tried to jump it no luck. Ended up getting a new battery now we were is business. Finally got out around 6PM 7/14/12 started out in our spot little west in 188'. Put the new dipsey setup it to find out I set my dipsey to go towards the boat and the other guy set his to do the same well found out quick that the new spin doctors were doing there job. Fixed the mess and got the lines out 120' got a hit real quick ended up being a 10 lb king our first salmon! Put lines back out 120' in 190' depth got a hit while my son was fighting the old reel broke could not reel line . While trying to fix reel boat drifted over line now it was caught in the prop (engine was off) lifted prop got untangled. Now got other reel tried it to that reel and got some on the spool fight on again. After some time landed a sweet 30lb king my son's smile was ear to ear! Remembered why I love fishing so much ...............I will tell you one thing seeing my son holding that monster with a ear to ear smile will never leave my mind, you can't buy memories like that!!!!

Sorry still a newbie just had to share this story not sure if it gives much fishing detail but will try to get better with details.

One phrase sums it all up! It doesn’t matter if I am catching fish or tangling lines I often find myself yelling out “Ain’t Fishin Funâ€

Just keep telling yourself that when times are tough. You wont have to think about it when your catching fish :)
