were are the salmon?

Hi All,

 

       I just signed up. Not too familiar with the site yet. I have an 1986 18' PowerPlay.  Nice all-around boat. Started fishing for salmon last year.  Been launching out of Sandy Creek (Hamlin) It's an obsession now.  I got a cannon manual downrigger for Christmas.  It works good.  Also use torpedo divers and dipsys. I installed a fish hawk this spring and that works great.  I think I'm using the equipment properly but still haven't caught one.   

 

       Went out yesterday and got nothing.  What is the best way to find out where the kings are from one day to the next?

Welcome to the site.  Right now it's tough on everyone.  A lot of guys staying less than 10 FOW looking for Lakers & browns.  Some reports of the salmon out deep but really not that many.  I think last couple of years have spoiled all of us.  Check thru the report sections & good luck.
