1954 Evinrude 15hp Antique Motor

Recommended Posts

These are very nice engines,but.....

You will have to run them with with a 1:16 mix (sae30) or 1-24 with TCW3 oil. That is because it does not have needle bearings. It needs a pressure tank and it is very thirsty.

They are not very antique or rare. In fact, there are a ton of them still around. ( They are good little engines).

If you live near Rochester, you can always go to Bill mayer from Mayers Marina. He was fixing and selling these engines when they first came out. He still fixes and sells them 60 years later! He has all the spare parts!
