1st mate finally caught a fish.

Glad that jinx is busted. Anyways, launched at the Genny & headed to the sand bars off to the west. Heavy clouds moved off to the east with a brisk SW wind. Bright & sunny. Marked a lot of something in 60-65FOW. (Possibly alewife spawning?) Couldn’t get anything to move. Surface temp seemed to get couple degrees warmer going out to 200 FOW. My guess is that there is an awful interesting water circulation pattern going on right now. Circled back in off the river & we ran into the one above on MUP’d Blk/Slvr w/glo at 40 down over 100FOW. Off at 11:00, both of us par-boiled. Great day to be on the water.

p.s. How do flies & bees get out to 200 fOW?
