Tough evening on the water, and a bit windy when we first got out. 8-20 ftw. Headed west, we marked fish and had one release. Made 4 passes around and by the inlet marking tons of fish but had no takers. At this point it was 745pm and very calm, no luck in the lake we pulled everything in and headed back. No other boats around or Fishermen on the piers we decided to try our last hope, run 2 lines through the inlet in hopes not to get our first skunk of the season. Left one planer out 9 feet, and ran a blue/silver challenger 80 ft back and straight lined a crocodile 50 ft back. Boom first steelhead of the season, and that was it. 6th trip out this season and found them each time. 95f9083c23157609016144e468f76926.jpg6d45f5057348af1ea3c86c82bb477a29.jpg
