Western lake Ontario Flasher/Fly spring?

I know spoons and Flasher meat is run in the spring but is it too early for flasher /fly? Thank you your insight on this I only get to lake once a year and hate to waste time on water if possible . Thx

It seems to be a yearly thing. Up til a few years ago i fished flies consistently as soon as there was fishable numbers on the east end. Past few years generally seems to be it switches to more of a fly bite later in the season. Regardless I always have at least one on a diver then go from there.

Thank you , I appreciate the response I   tend to over pack and think about this trip all year .Last year used 2- wire divers for the first time with 124 deeper divers and it worked great .I will experiment with F/F this spring .I am always learning every year .
