  1. Out again this morning, rainy but calm. Decent temp was 250 -350. One of those days where we dropped more than we landed but still a great day. Lakerunner who was fishing similar water crushed it including 3 Atlantics. Can’t remember fishing water this deep so early in the year but not complaining.
  2. Tough to say from a pic. My guess is 16lbs ish?
  3. It was, and fought just like they do. Lots of big jumps and swam away clean. Was happy to see that. Our big king swam away clean as well. We weren’t sure if we should weigh it in or not and chose not to. As of what’s reported at 5pm on the LOC website that might have been a mistake lol.
  4. Out with Legacy at 6am. Started in 10 feet of water but it was clear and 44 degrees. Picked up three or four small browns but it was obvious that the inside didn’t look like it was worth fishing in. Slid north and temp started going up. Hit 125 feet and it was game on. 150 to 300 feet held 47 to 48 degree water. Even down 60 it was warmer than the inside water. Over 25 king bites, some lakers and a quality Atlantic. Most kings 12-15 lbs, our biggest was just over 22. Fish wanted bright colored spoons but our biggest kings came on paddles pulling meat.
  5. Congratulations, that’s fantastic!
  6. Someone hung a 19lb brown out of the river today. Wow
  7. I agree on the king and the brown. I think the laker will be 23. Be fun to see how it ends, weather is always a big factor.
  8. Any guesses as to top weights of divisions?
  9. Good luck to everyone lucky enough to be out in the morning!
  10. With the breasts we cut cross grain medallions and marinate and grill. I also slice with grain and make jerky, very good. if he doesn’t respond to your thread pm Kevin Legg on the site. Guy knows what to do with all of it. Good luck.
  11. Good for you! I love browns. Fishing for big browns to me is like deer hunting. Pretty cool, good luck.
