  1. The link took me to the motors page, but if you're talking about that 19 footer, I've thought about it but my mind is pretty much set on a 22 footer with a hardtop and outboard. It doesn't necessarily have to be an Islander, but a cuddy would also come in handy when I take my g/f or sisters out. (potty breaks). I'm still looking and appreciate the help you've given me by keeping your eyes open for me. Thanks I probably will try to get a set of used electrics if things don't pan out by May. I plan on being out for the browns in April. I'm retired now so I don't have to be weather dependant on the weekends anymore. Hope to see you on the water this year.
  2. Anyone know if Cannon makes a kit for manual riggers to change over to electric or is it less expensive to just bite the bullet and buy electrics? Not sure what I'm going to do as far as getting a bigger boat this Spring so I might as well do some window shopping to update what I've got.
  3. Just as well. I'll keep it on a back burner till I hit the lottery.
  4. I don't have any idea how much it covers. A quick email or call to the company ought to be able to tell you. You might also check in your area for a "Rhino-Liner" dealer to see if they have applied that stuff to any boats and what the price was. That Durabak looks easy enough to use but like you say how much more than a gallon would you need. Good luck and let us know how you made out.
  5. Check this out as a replacement for the rug: http://www.durabakcompany.com/google-durabak.htm Some guys on another site recommended it highly.
  6. I'm afraid to ask, but what was the price?
  7. Oh yeah, the old "keep a paper bag on standby" trick.
  8. Dang, prices are up to .07, .05, & .04 I should have ordered before Christmas.
  9. Great pics. You really know how to rub salt in the wound. Just one of those fish would be a fish of a lifetime where I live.
  10. Well, at least you were able to finally get out there. You would have been in a daze all winter thinking you missed out on a banner day. Looking forward to talking to you about Nov. Dec. fishing.
  11. I always keep ginger ale in the cooler, ginger snaps for a snack, no problems on the boat for anyone who wants them. I've also used the wrist bands when I used to go out cod fishing off Point Judith. They DO work also.

  13. Next they'll want to stop farmers from using a plow because it might cut some worms. :D Where does it end?
  14. Hmmm, I'm kinda used to old stuff. I'll have to take a ride and see what's there. Thanks!
  15. The theory is that with the warmer lake water it will create more than usual lake effect snow in the higher elevations. This in turn will lead to higher run-offs in the Spring. Patience Grasshopper, it will come.
  16. It's just a matter of time, we'll get it.
  17. I own the boat. There's only two us us usually and we haven't placed in the money yet. But if we do, it will be divided 3 ways. 1/3 me, my partner, & the boat. The boat's share will then be divided 3 ways. If we won $1000.00 it would break down to: $518.52 for me $481.48 for my partner For $10,000. it would be: $5185.18 for me $4814.82 for my partner I call it Musky's Method. Sounds fair to me.
  18. How 'bout giving the location so the rest of us know what town it's in.
  19. Yeah, like I said maybe the Spring season will be better. If you happen to stop there, let us know if it was any different. Thanks
  20. You can also buy them at the border crossing. Duty free store.
  21. Ron, forget about the Gander in Cicero. I was there in November and they didn't have much at all and the salesman didn't even know what half the stuff was I asked him about. He said they don't get a lot of calls for salmon tackle. I was really dissappointed. I expected them to have a lot too. I don't know, maybe the Spring season will be different. The Gander in New Hartford had more stuff than Cicero.
  22. One can only hope. Maybe this year?
